2 AM

Oh well, I have Just deleted very disturbing cliche hip hop lyrics about a girl’s big backside, lyrics that would very quickly take me off the mood I’m in. After all who thinks about a woman’s back side at 2AM? Hehe, I do, sometimes, but that is not important for now, and we are free to do whatever we please. Speaking of freedom, I read somewhere that death is freedom and suicide is for the best of men. It also went ahead to say that anyone preventing you from killing yourself doesn’t want you to be free. Wow! First of all, bullshit. Thank you very much. Because Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants. Never seen a dead man speak before, in fact they can’t even act as they want. They just wait to be dropped in a hole that they didn’t even dig.
But it really got me thinking. Brief background, Hi my name is Roc, I am extremely claustrophobic. But I somehow trust my toilet. It is where I sit to write and to do the business. What if the dead feel every single thing that happens? What if you witness all your friends, family and back stabbers line up to see your dead body. What if you know that it is your party but it is like you are not even there? What if you just feel caged behind your own eyelids? What if you know exactly what to do to snap out of it but you just cant move? Your gang your squad your FAM can’t even figure it out and just pours soil on your face? I don’t know about you but with my claustrophobia I’d die twice. Oh well, time for bed.

Dress is Identity

Dress is Identity.

“I can tell a lot about you just by the way you dress and present yourself.” Said Carolyne Ndumia a fashion Designer and blogger. Yes, it is true how we dress can define who we are in more ways than we think. How? Well, our dressing can shout from the roof tops the secrets we think we are hiding.
Secrets? Yes secrets, but more of our emotional secrets. I may be depressed and sad. My dressing can portray that very clearly. If I’m happy and loving my life, my dressing will also do the talking for me. How? Well, it goes deeper than the dressing. Human beings are very intelligent. Even the aliens know that Human beings are intelligent creatures, i guess that’s why they haven’t invaded us yet. Anyway the human brain is a marvel. This is because it works even when we are unconscious, and by unconscious i do not mean when you are blackout drunk. I mean when you are just going on with your daily activities your brain works in ways you might not understand. This occurs when you are not aware of what is happening but the brain works in the background without informing you what it is exactly processing.

You may be asking, We were talking about dressing and now we have jumped into the depths of the human brain and its functionality? Well, Fashionistas are not as dumb as you think. I am getting to the point where the two connect, and we will see how your deepest feelings are portrayed in your dressing.

First, When you are having a bad day, the brain knows that you are having a bad day. You can lie to everyone and anyone, heck! You can even lie to a lie detector, but you cannot lie to your brain. You cannot lie to the very thing that processes the lie that you are trying to deceive it with. So when you are in your closet trying to pick the clothes for the day, the sub-conscious mind will let you prefer the one that will match that certain mood that you have on that particular day.
Not convincing? Well, here is something that might change your mind.

Have you ever gone to a new place where you met nice people who made you feel wanted and happy? Yes? If so, did you go a second time? Yes? How were you dressed? If you changed your style dressing the second time you went, consider the moods of the two days, and you may note the difference or the similarities that were triggered by the sub-conscious mind without your knowledge.

So it is safe to say that we are all open books that walk around in the streets written in a language known as fashion and it takes one to understand “fashioneese” it so as to read it clearly.
Try it this May, who knows you may understand someone feelings and not be single this year. THANK ME LATER.
